  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and profile picture, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the application via Google or Microsoft authentication, or when you update your profile.
  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the application, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the application. For authenticated users, we link this to your Firebase UID.
  • Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the application, including subjects selected, topics studied, questions viewed, answers submitted (including text for short answers), points earned, credits spent/earned, quiz/challenge performance, feature usage, and timestamps.
  • Firebase Data: We receive authentication information (like your unique Firebase UID, email, display name, photo URL) from Firebase when you log in using Google or Microsoft. We do not receive or store your Google or Microsoft passwords.
  • AI Interaction Data: Prompts you send to the AI chat and the responses generated. Short answers submitted for evaluation and the resulting AI feedback.
  • Feedback Data: Information you provide when you contact us or submit feedback.

2. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide the core Quiz, Challenge, and AI Chat functionalities.
  • Track your progress, points, credits, and challenge difficulty level.
  • Personalize your experience (e.g., selecting appropriate questions).
  • Process transactions (points and credits).
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve the application.
  • Respond to your comments and questions and provide customer support.
  • Send you push notifications (if enabled) regarding account activity (e.g., credit transfers).
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.
  • Improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content and evaluations (using anonymized or aggregated data where possible).

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not share your personally identifiable information with third parties except in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors and service providers that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, hosting services (Azure), AI processing (Azure OpenAI), authentication (Firebase), and customer service. These service providers are obligated to protect your data.
  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.

  • Account Information: You may at any time review or change the information in your account (Display Name, Photo URL) by accessing your profile settings.
  • Emails and Communications: If you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from us, you may opt-out by contacting us using the contact information provided below.
  • Access and Deletion: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Please contact us to make such requests. Note that deleting your account may not remove all historical usage data immediately due to backups and logging.

6. Policy for Children

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Application to help customize the Application and improve your experience.
